Even if you don't need stuff because it takes up space in your inventory, the point stands that taking the time to pass it out to others rather than just merch it or whatever (not an option with minipets though) is a nice gesture.

This is really sad. It's too bad that people can't just accept kindness or politely turn it down instead of being dicks. And people wonder why there aren't more friendly people - look in the mirror. And I don't mean just in this game, either.

I had to go to the mall yesterday and I got cut off left and right, almost run over while on foot in the parking lot, glared at for attempting to get a game off a shelf at Game Stop (OMG the horrors I might be trying to cut in line without any items to purchase because I can't get to the freaking shelf to get the game I want in the first place). I'm convinced the holidays bring out the worst in people. It's so sad. I tried to smile at everyone but some people just glare back.

Too many people are out for themselves first sadly.

Sadly it is true. The holidays do bring out the worst in many people.

The upside is .. you can body slam a senior citizen and not feel bad about it .. because they would do it to you as well to get ahead in the check out line. Nothing screams the holidays like full contact December 24th shopping!

I give out free coal to people who happen to just be running and suddenly stop by me, or admire my armor or something. Yes, I know coal isn't very nice, but I had lots of it and I suppose at least it would be a tad bit unique?

Most of the time though people thought I wanted something in return so they'd just close the trade window...can't blame them cause I'd just trade with them randomly.

My entire alliance had been stocking up on greens, golds, and other items that members didn't want to keep but were useful for other players (or items they had a hard time selling) and we gave them away in LA and Kamadan on December 23rd and December 24th.

I just ran a guy who didn't have much mapped in Tyria through all the towns and areas he needed for the A Very Grentchie Wintersday quest. It's been so long since I haven't map traveled to ToA, I forgot the way from LA and had to think about it.
